Melody Himel Clarke is a deputy director of the Election Integrity Network, a project of the Virginia Institute for Public Policy – an independent, nonpartisan, education and research organization that develops and promotes public policy consistent with the Virginia tradition of individual liberty, dynamic entrepreneurial capitalism, private property, the rule of law, and constitutionally limited government. She also specializes in engagement and external relations efforts on behalf of the Virginia Institute.
In addition to her work with the Institute, Melody also hosts Politics on the Edge, a conservative talk-radio show featuring national level guests focused on federal policy.
Prior to joining the Virginia Institute, Melody was with Heritage Action for ten years as a senior regional director responsible for recruiting, training, and informing the activist network of Heritage Action Sentinels about federal and state policy across a region that included the Mid-Atlantic and Upper Northeast region. Before joining the liberty movement, she was a small business owner for most of her adult life.
She is a Christian, happily married to her husband, David Clarke. She is an avid equestrian and enjoys trail riding as well as recreational shooting and is currently learning how to bird hunt with her Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas. Follow her on most social media @TheRightMelody.
