Julia is an administrative support specialist at the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, an independent, nonpartisan, education and research organization that develops and promotes public policy consistent with the Virginia tradition of individual liberty, dynamic entrepreneurial capitalism, private property, the rule of law, and constitutionally limited government. As such, she primarily provides support for the Election Integrity Network (EIN) and Virginia Fair Elections (VFE) coalition.
She is a graduate of Brigham Young University (BYU) – Provo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Teaching. While attending BYU, she was heavily involved in their orchestral music program and earned a minor in music. Upon graduation in the spring of 2022, Julia moved to Buena Vista, Virginia to teach Spanish at Parry McCluer High School.
Julia is an advocate for making quality education increasingly accessible. In college, she worked with the Utah Prison Education Program where she volunteered as a teaching assistant for classes offered to incarcerated students. She continues to advocate for policies that improve the quality and accessibility of education for both youth and adults.
In her free time, Julia enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and cooking.
