Timothy E. Donner is a member of the Virginia Institute for Public Policy’s board of directors, bringing decades of experience in media, philanthropy, and conservative advocacy. A seasoned radio talk show host, Mr. Donner is the founder of One Generation Away, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting free-market principles and limited government. He also hosts Liberty Nation, a syndicated radio show aired on WRC in Washington, D.C., and dozens of stations nationwide, providing insightful conservative commentary on key political and cultural issues.
In addition to his media work, Mr. Donner is the founder and executive director of Horizons Television, Inc., a television and video production company based in Great Falls, Virginia, specializing in fundraising, documentary, promotional, and educational video content. His commitment to public service extends to various boards of trustees, including the William H. Donner Foundation, a philanthropic organization with assets exceeding $100 million; Radio America, the conservative radio network; Values Through Media, Cal Thomas’s foundation aimed at addressing mainstream media bias; the National Mental Health Association in Alexandria, Virginia; and the Donner Canadian Foundation, one of Canada’s largest national foundations. Mr. Donner’s extensive experience as an entrepreneur, conservative policy advocate, and broadcast journalist enhances his valuable contributions to VIPP’s mission.
